Artie Kornfeld, the original co-founder of Woodstock ‘69 and socially conscious Montreal artist David Kam have joined forces to mount IMAGINE, a 2-day charity music and arts extravaganza, as part of the Earthship Summit.
IMAGINE is inspired by John Lennon’s song Imagine and infused with the spirit of Woodstock ’69, to create a “SPARK” for massive environmental and social change.
Woodstock in 1969 was a gathering of one generation. IMAGINE uses music to bring 4 generations of people together from around the world to create an enormous electronic global village for peace, to end poverty and to save our planet.
We want to invite to IMAGINE, 50 of the world’s greatest rock bands, in spirit of Woodstock ’69. The theme is “2 Days of Love and Music to Change the World”. We hope to bring 1,000,000 people to the event, and to broadcast it to another 50-100 million people worldwide (TV, radio, cinemas, webcast).
